Who is this training for?
This course is designed for anyone responsible for documenting water mitigation jobs — from field technicians new to Encircle to experienced restorers looking to streamline workflows.
Do I need to be IICRC certified to take this training?
No, but this course is ideal for those who have their Water Restoration Technician (WRT) or those who have a basic understanding of drying science fundamentals.
How do I get my IICRC CE certificate for completing this course?
When you complete your quiz you'll be asked if you require an IICRC CE certificate. If you selected the option to receive an IICRC CE certificate on the form and achieved more than 80% on the quiz, we’ll email you a PDF certificate shortly after completion. Certificates are sent quickly, but please allow up to 5 minutes for delivery.
You can submit your certificate to the IICRC in one of the following ways:
  • Email the PDF to renewals@iicrcnet.org OR
  • Upload it through your IICRC account at iicrc.org
    Under My Account Links, select Report CECs and follow the prompts to enter your CEC information.
How does Hydro help with compliance and invoicing?
Hydro follows IICRC S500 standards for documenting water mitigation jobs. Accurate readings, chamber setup, and equipment logs make your documentation defensible and help reduce pushback from carriers on invoices.
Can I use Hydro to justify equipment charges?
Yes — when you capture room dimensions and affected areas, Hydro can calculate chamber volume and generate S500-based equipment recommendations. These can be included in your reports to validate the number of dehumidifiers and air movers you used.
Does Hydro work offline?
Yes — you can capture data even without an internet connection. When you’re back online, Hydro syncs everything automatically so your team and office staff can see updates in real time.
Can multiple people work in Hydro at the same time?
Yes – that’s the beauty of real-time sync. You can have multiple people working in the job file simultaneously, see updates in real-time and get the documentation done faster. Without worrying about data being lost.
Can project managers view jobs remotely?
Yes — Hydro syncs data instantly, allowing PMs and supervisors to monitor jobs, review alerts, and spot issues from anywhere.
Which Hydro report should I use?
Hydro offers several report formats including Full, Summary, Carrier, and Equipment reports. Choose the one that best fits your audience — from detailed compliance logs to quick overviews for adjusters or homeowners.
